I came to the shop thinking the turbo on my Subaru was blown. I was told after diagnosis that my turbo was fine and test-produced 10lbs of boost. That's good news. So, the shop then did a bunch of other stuff the car needed for $3000. So, then I pick up the car and the turbo is making a noise. After a ride with the tech he agreed there is a noise, the turbo bearings may be starting to go out. So, now $3000 later, I have a car in need of a turbo. Lots of needed work was done, but I don't know how this issue was only noticed by me. I dont think the guys at the shop meant to do wrong by me, they seem like such nice people, but, communication breakdown led me to think the car would 'run like a top,' when a major and expensive issue remains.
