Can't comment on their work because I didn't hire them, but they did give me an estimate for a job that was almost $800 more than another shop. Needless to say, I opted to give the other shop my business and save the $800.

I had the absolute worst experience with Bob's Lil Car Hospital. My 17-year-old son took his car in to get some professional help with a major issue we were having. The car would constantly stall out and die, no matter what we did. We tried everything from getting new batteries to replacing the alternator, terminal leads, fuses, and relays, but nothing worked. We were at our wit's end, so we decided to take it to Bob's Lil Car Hospital, hoping they could finally figure out the problem. What a mistake that was! Not only did Bob try to cut corners, but his temporary fix didn't even hold up long enough for us to get the car back home. What's even worse is that when we contacted him about the issue, he refused to take any accountability for his shoddy work. He wouldn't even help us with the cost of getting the car towed back to his shop. Now, we're out $500, we still have no car, and we're no closer to figuring out what's wrong with it. It's beyond frustrating to have put all that time and effort into trying to fix the issue ourselves, only to have Bob's Lil Car Hospital make things even worse. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If you're looking for a trustworthy, reliable mechanic who actually cares about his customers, Bob's is definitely not the place to go. Save yourself the hassle and find a different shop.

We have been taking our vehicles to Bob's Lil Car for several years (and several different vehicles) and always receive excellent service. They are very reasonably priced also. We would recommend them to everyone.

Bobs has been great for my demon possessed VW New Bug. They've been upfront about pricing and wait time for repairs, including when there's a specific part that needs to be ordered. Highly recommend.

I've been a customer of Bob's Lil Car Hospital for 6 years and have always been very satisfied with the service. They are thorough, answer all questions, and fix everything correctly the first time. Their customer service attitude is excellent, and their treat you fairly. For instance, at the recent servicing they performed, the tech noticed my license plate lights were out. Due to the complexity of accessing the lights, the estimate was $100. But it took much less time and so they reduced the cost to under $29. Other repair shops might just go with the "book" rate regardless of the time. Their location in Lexington might initially deter some people, but RiverCities Transit Route 411 has a flag stop right in front of the shop -- couldn't be easier to get to/from Longview. Highly recommended!
